How much does a wedding photographer cost in Swansea and South Wales?
Prices vary from £250 - £2500. As with any service - you tend to get what you pay for so research diligently and make sure you see a full portfolio of work before making a decision.
What should I expect from a wedding photographer prior to the wedding?
You should expect them to ask questions and get to know you a little. They should be interested in the colour schemes and themes of your wedding as well as the embellishments, personal touches and details that you have taken the time to create as these should be reflected in the photographic narrative of the day. We can arrange a pre-wedding photoshoot in the woods or on the beach, which is a great way for us to become acquainted and informally discuss the wedding day plans.
Why should I hire a professional wedding photographer in Swansea?
A wedding is such a personal, unique and important event. In order to curate lasting and treasured memories in images, you really do need a professional wedding photographer/videographer in the same way that you would employ a trusted and professional tradesman in your house. The professionalism and expertise involved in the delivery of a quality service and the resulting end product cannot be overstated. A capable photographer, means so much to the outcome of the documentation of a day that can never be repeated. You will receive high quality images taken by an expert in their field, with a passion for capturing memories and moments in a way that you will always cherish and wish to share.
How long will you stay at my wedding?
The hours do vary but typically, 8 hours is adequate to cover the timeline of the day. This begins with documenting the bridal preparations and ends with the capture of the newlyweds’ first dance. Of course, there is flexibility in this and some clients may only request 2 hours whilst others will require longer - up to 12 hours. It is entirely up to you as a couple.
Are you going to photograph my wedding alone or do you have a team?
I generally work alone and am able to cover intimate weddings with modest numbers, to larger parties of up to 400 guests. If you require an additional videographer or are arranging your own, it would be advisable for us to meet up and discuss how we will work together prior to the wedding, ideally at the venue. This will ensure that we are able to coordinate the timings and logistics of the ceremony.
